About Summer Camp

ABOUT SUMMER CAMP

At Egg and Spoon Lacrosse camps players of all positions and skill levels have an opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches and players in the Northwest.  Many coaches were former campers themselves, who now play at the Division 1, 2, and 3 College levels.

We welcome ALL skill levels.  Our camps generally break down with a third of kids new to the sport, a third who just finished up their first spring season, and a third who are experienced players. Our goal for camp is to provide opportunities to play lacrosse for fun!  As kids are finishing up a season, or new to the sport, summer camps give players the opportunity to try new things, make new friends and reconnect with old ones, and have a blast!

Lacrosse is America's oldest team sport, dating back to 1100 A.D.  It was created by the Haudenosaunee Indigenous peoples, in what now is New York and areas in Canada bordering the state.  Join us in honoring, and growing, the "fastest game on two feet"!
  • For rising 1st - 9th graders (varies per camp)
  • All gender identities welcome  (we do follow"boys" league rules and require "boys" gear)
  • Improve your game and build confidence
  • New and experienced players welcome
  • Loaner Gear available
Equity and Access

Our Commitment to Equity and Access

At Egg and Spoon Lacrosse, we are deeply committed to making lacrosse, in the greater Seattle area, accessible to groups who have a history of being marginalized in this sport we love so much.  As part of our ongoing work, we provide, in partnership with NW People of Color Coaching Collective, free lacrosse opportunities for youth in communities of color throughout the year, including TryLax Clinics, recruitment to club teams, ect.

Because we know that cost, gear, and transportation are the main barriers for participating in camp, we offer loaner gear, help with coordinating transportation as needed, and, yearly, increasing the amount of financial aid available.

As Egg and Spoon has grown and expanded over the past twenty+ years, our vision has remained consistent: to build young player’s confidence, while improving on proficiency, in a fun and rewarding atmosphere.
